Personal Training is great for those who want a personal, private, one-on-one, results-based session with an instructor. Our world demands that trainers are adaptable and receptive to an online world where people are not always able to get to a gym. That’s where online personal training comes in.
I can help you reach your goals – whether athletic, weight-loss related, strength-related, health-related or for other personal reasons. I, however, use a Health at Every Size and body-positive approach to training. While weight loss may be your goal, I will also challenge my clients to focus on other indicators of progress – how your clothes fit, body composition tests, body measurements and overall functionality.
All you need is internet access and a webcam. Sessions can be done over Skype or through Zoom.
Online Individual Personal Training — Initial Assessment and Program Design
In order for me to train you effectively, I need to know where you’re at! In this session, I take you through a number of assessment tests to help us identify your fitness level, flexibility, strengths, weaknesses and establish a baseline. We also discuss your health and fitness goals. In the spirit of HAES, body-positivity and acceptance, I don’t weigh clients (unless they want to weigh themselves); instead, we’ll use other methods such as body measurements, heart rate, “before and after” photos etc. to establish a baseline and measure progress. Your comfort comes first! Previous injuries and risk factors should be disclosed and will be discussed in this session. This session is a pre-requisite for any and all future personal training sessions. 1 hour session
Online Individual Personal Training Session – One Hour
Here is where the real work gets done! I take you through a variety of exercises with your fitness goal in mind. My goal for you is future autonomy. I will teach you all that I can so that you can get to a place where you feel comfortable exercising by yourself! Purchase this class only after you've completed your initial assessment and program design with me. Duration: 1 hour
Online Individual Personal Training Session – 30 Minutes
Here is where the real work gets done! I take you through a variety of exercises with your fitness goal in mind. My goal for you is future autonomy. I will teach you all that I can so that you can get to a place where you feel comfortable exercising by yourself! Purchase this class only after you've completed your initial assessment and program design with me. Duration: 30 minutes
