Are you tired of being told to “just lose some weight” to manage your PCOS?
I know I am.
But it doesn’t have to be this way.
You don’t have to focus on weight loss to manage PCOS and I can show you how through the “PCOS I Can”: Weight-Inclusive 10 Week Jump Start Program.
Offer ends September 27, 2024 at 11:59 pm EST.
It’s a ten-week weight-inclusive program for people with PCOS that provides direction, connection, community and accountability, in addition to distilling the information and research on PCOS.

Does any of this sound familiar?
(Content Warning: discussion of weight loss, suicide and depression)
My doctor says I need to lose weight. If only she knew how many times I’ve tried.
I lost weight but I always end up losing it just to regain it again and then some.
I literally count every morsel of food that goes into my mouth. I exercise every day. I drink gallons of water every day but I still grow a beard and my endocrinologist still told me to “just lose weight.”
My gyno just gave me the birth control pill and told me to “lose weight.” But I have already lost weight. How much more weight do I have to lose?
I wanna be able to have a baby but I don’t wanna eat keto or try intermittent fasting. These things don’t work for me. Does that mean I won’t get pregnant?
I’m never going to be 150lbs and reach my “ideal BMI” try as I might. At least, not unless I want to still be alive and well. I’m muscular. My body isn’t made that way.
My Mom thinks I must be eating too much. My boyfriend says I’m lazy. But I hardly eat anything!
I lost weight but it didn’t lower my blood sugar, HbA1C or bring my period back.
I’m pretty sure trying to manage this condition has caused an eating disorder or disordered eating. I no longer have a healthy relationship with food.
I have a history of disordered eating and my doctor/dietician’s diet recommendations don’t help with my recovery.
I don’t wanna do another diet.
If one more person mentions “calories in, calories out” I’m gonna scream.
I’ve become obsessed with counting every calorie and every step but I’m still hairy, I still have a belly, and I’m still losing hair. I don’t feel like I can eat anything. PCOS has taken over my life. This is not a way to live. I just want some f*cking pasta.
I’m miserable. I’m frustrated.
There must be a better way.
There is.
Do you want a safe/brave space to share your struggles and challenges a person living with PCOS?
Do you wish you had the follow through and commitment to stick to a workout plan or program? Do you wish you had someone keeping you accountable?
Do you want more fun and friendship in your life?
Then this just may be for you.

I know what it’s like to workout everyday but not see the scale move an inch, only to be scolded by doctors that I’m “morbidly obese” and I have to “lose weight.”
When I asked one OB/GYN about what I needed to do, he flippantly told me to, “Stop eating.”
Stop eating? You don’t even know what I eat or how much I eat? Why assume that my size is due to my eating habits?
And yes, there were times when I managed to lose weight — but I would obsessively traipse and travel with my bathroom scale wherever I would go and have anxiety whenever I so much as ate a fry.
Oh yes — and my period was still irregular, and I would grow a beard that rivalled my brother’s.
I lost weight, but I was unhealthy in so many other ways — ways in which my doctors and dieticians never cared to ask about.
I’m tired of weight stigma — at the doctor’s office and in society. I’m tired of being told to lose weight. I’m tired of focusing on my body size. I’m tired of doing all the things and it not being good enough for anyone.
I’m tired.
And then there’s so much information out there! Eat keto, try intermittent fasting, get on a GLP-1, don’t get on a GLP-1, get into a calorie deficit, take birth control — no, take Provera, take inositol, “I have a promo code for a supplement if you would just buy from me…”
I’m tired.
Beyond my frustration and fatigue, I’ve thankfully found that a lot of research and studies back up my exasperation.
People with PCOS are four times more likely to suffer from an eating disorder.
Suicide attempts are up to 7x higher in people with PCOS.
People with PCOS have higher rates of anxiety and depression.
Weight loss has not always resulted in the physiological changes that people in white coats promised us. In fact, for many of us, between the stress of losing weight and the stress of weight loss, the emotional turmoil and the weight cycling, intentional weight loss has done us more harm than good.

In this ten-week jump start program, I will hold your hand and walk you through everything you need to know — from what to do if you suspect you have PCOS to receiving a diagnosis to knowing what tests to ask for to finding a weight-inclusive physician.
In this program you will learn how to manage your PCOS through a “Health at Every Size”, weight-neutral and weight-inclusive framework.
If you show up and do the work, you will build muscle, you will have increased mobility, you will get stronger, you will improve your mental and social wellbeing — not to mention see improvement in your biomarkers (e.g. blood sugar, blood pressure, resting heart rate etc.)
This program will help you to distill all of the confusing exercise advice and food noise out there. You will have a path forward as you figure out what holistic management of PCOS looks like for you. With community check-ins online and check-ins with me, you will have the accountability you need to make your changes stick.
This is the community you need to help you to learn from others, commiserate and feel less alone.
No focus on weight loss. No diet talk.

What people are saying
“I was one of the new girls that took your Aqua Zumba class for the first time last week. I did not know what to expect. Your personality and energy blew me away. But…it wasn’t until you started speaking that the lightbulb went off and all I could think was “Oh my God! This woman is AMAZING!!
You are so much more than an instructor… you were like a motivational speaker… I had to actually fight from crying because you were THAT inspiring! You emanate so much light and positive energy. Your class helps us not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well.
I’ve been battling late stage lyme disease and fibromyalgia and more for 8 years. Your class makes me feel alive, gives me hope and [makes me feel] like anything can happen. I love what you said about leaving the judgments at the door!
You are changing lives for the better. You are like the holy grail of Movati! I feel on top of the world taking your class and I just wanted to say thank you just for being you. I know if you inspired me that much in one day…you have got to be inspiring dozens of women.
Thank you for shining so much light into my world.”
— Sabrina J.
“Simone is a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day. Her Aqua Zumba class is theeee best! She incorporates positive body image and zero judgments. She enables us to have a physical, mental and emotional workout. I’ve been chronically ill forever and I feel ALIVE and HEALTHY and HAPPY in her class! I was in a wheelchair and walker for six out of these last twelve months. Simone S. is just the best. I look forward every Thursday and Sunday for her classes. You can tell she LOVES what she does!”
— Fatima M.
